The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (hereinafter referred to as "Authority" or "JTA") is solicit competitive bids from qualified firms (herein after referred to as "Contractor") to provide all applicable installation services necessary to complete the Myrtle Avenue Operations Campus (MAOC) Bus Wash Blowers project for a complete turnkey system. The project intent is to remove and replace the bus wash blower equipment at the Myrtle Avenue Operations Campus. The new bus wash blower equipment will be fitted within the existing Building #4 bus wash lanes. Notice of Intent to Award (NOITA) : October 10, 2024. The Contract shall commence upon the Authority's issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP) with substantial completion within one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days allowing thirty (30) calendar days for final completion. Total allowed contract time is one hundred and fifty (150) calendar days. Each Bid must contain a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Treasurer's Check, and/or Official Bank Check. The Bid Security shall be in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the total Bid price. The amount of the Performance and Payment Bonds shall be one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price. Bidders are encouraged to make every attempt to secure a level of DBE participation that contributes toward the achievement of Authority's overall DBE goal of 27%. The Authority reserves all rights it is entitled to under the law, including the right to: reject any or all Bids and to cancel or postpone the Solicitation, in whole or in part, for any reason, without liability; issue subsequent or concurrent Solicitation(s) for the work described herein; perform background checks, reference checks, and consider any information the Authority deems pertinent to the Solicitation; request additional copies of the Bid from the Bidder, at no cost to the Authority; and request additional or omitted information and seek clarifications of any Bid.
