Renovation of a fire / police facility in City of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The City of Wilkes -Barre intends to award a contract to A Consulting Engineer/Architect under this solicitation for the: South Fire Station Roof 313 High St Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 Technical Problems or General Questions regarding the bid can be directed to jzaykowski@wilkes-barre.pa.us or (570) 208-4138 Scope of Work is defined in the request for proposals. A contract will be negotiated and awarded to the most qualified firm. The successful proposers shall anticipate a Notice of Award within 30 days after the proposals have been reviewed and a Notice to Proceed shall be issued shortly thereafter. The City of Wilkes-Barre encourages minority owned firms, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms to submit proposals. The proposer must ensure that the employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability. In addition, and to the greatest extent feasible, the Proposer should utilize Wilkes-Barre businesses for contract needs. The City of Wilkes-Barre does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, family or handicap status in employment or the provision of services. The City of Wilkes-Barre reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to request additional information from all proposers, when doing so is in the best interest of the project. Proposals may be held by the City of Wilkes-Barre for a period not to exceed sixty days from the opening date for review purposes. During this time period, no proposer will be allowed to withdraw his or her proposal. The City of Wilkes-Barre adheres to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA) and all applicable federal and state laws. Wilkes-Barre City Hall is a facility accessible to persons with disabilities. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
