As of November 7, 2024, project was awarded to O Connor Company of NC Inc., with the base bid of $4,479,000.00. (Alternate 5 Trane HVAC $19,500.00 + Alternate 6 Lithonia Lightig Fixtures $2,500.00 + Alternate 7 Square D Electrical Switchgear $4,000.00 + Alternate 8 EST Fire Alarm Equipment $2,000.00). This Project Will Be Bid and Awarded in Accordance With G.s143-128, G.s. 143-129. Work of the Project Includes Construction of the Lillington Shawtown Gymnasium; a One-story, 10,530 Square Foot Gymnasium Building and Connecting Lobby With Corridor, Slab on Grade, Masonry Load-bearing Structure With Cavity Wall Construction With Brick Veneer Exterior Walls, Cmu Interior Walls, Steel Roof Trusses and Joists, and Both Single Membrane and Standing Seam Metal Roofs. Interior Finishes of Painted Cmu and Gypsum Board on Metal Studs, Acoustical Tile Ceilings, Vct Floors, Aluminum Windows With Insulated Glass, Hollow Metal Door Frames and Wood Doors. Related Site Work Will Include Extending the Current Pavement Access Drive for Emergency Vehicles and Concrete Sidewalks.
