Renovation of a civil project in Mount Kisco, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

This work consists of all electrical work for the installation of the three (3) new flow meters at the Water Filtration Plant and Byram Lake Pump Station Questions should be sent to Jake Fogarty, P.E. via email at jfogarty@delawareengineering.com. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The Village Manager reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any informalities at his discretion, and to award contracts in a manner deemed to be in the best interests of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of five percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond (on form attached, if a form is prescribed) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Conditions. The numbers of days within which, or the dates by which, the work is to be substantially completed and also completed and ready for final payment (The Contract Time) are set forth in the Bid Form and the Agreement. Liquidated damages, if any, are stipulated in the Standard Form of Agreement of these contract documents. 1. The total contract price bid shall be accepted as full compensation for the complete work subject to additions or deductions in quantity of work performed or changes agreed upon. 2. Within five (5) days from the date of "Notice of Award" of the Proposal, to execute the contract and to furnish a satisfactory labor, material and performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. 3. To begin work no later than ten (10) days after receipt of "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner. 4. To make the work substantially and fully complete and operational within 180 calendar days from the date of issuance of said notice. 5. To comply with requirements as to the conditions of employment, wage rates and hours set forth in the bidding documents. Question Deadline 08/26/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to ENGINEER. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
