Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Kindred, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,000-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The project will be construction of a new, 5,000 square foot office building at 971 Elm Street, Kindred, ND 58051. Construction will be a 1-story building with attic storage space. It will be non-sprinklered with group B occupancy and type V-B construction. In a Resolution approved by Cass Rural Water Users District (the District ) on November 21, 2024, the District authorized the use of the Construction Management At-Risk contracting and delivery method ( CMAR ) for the Project, all as permitted under N.D. Cent. Code 48-01.2-18 through 48-01.2-23. The District conducted the requisite CMAR selection process as required by law and ultimately selected Lee Jones & Sons Construction Co. ( LJS ) as the CMAR contractor for the Project. Bidders will ultimately enter into contracts with LJS directly; however, LJS will conduct subcontractor procurement in accordance with bidding requirements under Chapter 48-01.2 of the North Dakota Century Code. Each bid email must be accompanied by a separate email with Contractor s License in the subject line; the separate email must include as an attachment the Bidder s North Dakota Contractor s License or Certificate of Renewal. It is recommended that the submitter follow up with EAPC to verify the receival of bids. LJS will not read or consider any bid that does not include a proper Contractor s License or Certificate of Renewal, as described above. LJS will reject any deficient bid submitted and return it to the bidder immediately. LJS reserves the right to reject any and all bids and rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received and to hold all Bids for a period of 45 days after bid opening.
