The work for which the bids are being solicited is the provision of vehicles and labor required for snowplowing designated roads in the Borough as required between October 8, 2024 and September 30, 2025 with the option to extend for 1 year. The bid submitted should be for price per hour for driver and truck (minimum 33,000 GVW) with a maximum of eight (8) foot wide power reversible snowplow and spreader. Service providers shall be required to respond to the Borough's request for plowing services within 90 minutes of notification and will be guaranteed a minimum of 4 hours plow time per request. The successful bidder must be willing to provide proof of insurance and sign an agreement of indemnity with the Borough. A surety bond or cashier's check in the amount of $500.00 must accompany all bids as security for performance by the successful bidder. The Borough reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities and the right to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of 45 days after the date set for the opening thereof.
