Site work for a water / sewer project in Stewartstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work shall consist of, but not be limited to replacing approximately 227' of 8" VCP sanitary sewer main with 12" PVC, replacement of 2 manholes, and pavement restoration/overlay. A bid bond or certified check made payable to Stewartstown Borough Authority in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany the sealed bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442, approved August 15, 1961 and subsequent amendments. Wage rates are included in the Contract Documents. The Authority reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to accept or reject any or all proposals and waive any irregularities. No bidder may withdraw their bid for sixty (60) days after closing time for receipt of bids.
