Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Holts Summit, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The proposed work includes: Construction of sidewalk, sidewalk ramps, driveway approaches, of sidewalk along South Summit Drive as well as the installation of a rectangular rapid flashing beacon. The project will utilize City Right-of-Way and City maintenance easements for construction of the sidewalk as well as temporary construction easements for grading and tie-ins parallel to the proposed sidewalk. All questions concerning the bid document preparation or project specific questions can be directed to the Dillon Feely with Bartlett & West at 573-659-6716. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2023 Edition, including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The City of Holts Summit reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Proposals must be on forms provided. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 3%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. MODOT - South Summit Drive Sidewalk Connection
