Buckland Historical Society is seeking bids from qualified construction companies to complete Phase Two of the restoration of the English-Style Barn (circa 1790) located on the Wilder Homestead property at 129 Ashfield Road, Buckland, Massachusetts, 01338. Proposals should include a price and timetable that will be valid for a one-year period after the date of submission. All Proposals must include three (3) references from similar projects. BHS reserves the right to negotiate the final scope and price with the successful bidder based on available funding. The Contractor shall submit monthly bills for all work completed and materials in storage. Upon verification by the Architect, the Owner will make payment within thirty (30) days. B. When the project is completed, the Architect shall be notified. The Architect and Owner shall inspect the finished work, copies of paid receipts for all materials incorporated into the work, and signed paperwork from the local Building Authority. Upon verification and satisfactory completion of the work, the Owner will make the final payment within thirty (30) days.
