Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Saugus, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Work Under This Contract Consists of the Replacement of Existing Curb and Sidewalk Along Sections of the East Side of Lincoln Avenue From Seagrit Avenue to Guild Road. The Existing Guardrail in Front of 286 & 282 Lincoln Avenue Will Be Removed and a New Guardrail System Will Be Installed. The Bids Will Be for All Labor, Materials, Equipment, Tools, Appliances Etc. Necessary for Construction of the Lincoln Ave Sidewalk Project. Each Bid Proposal Must Be Secured by an Accompanying Deposit of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid Amount. Submitted in a Sealed Envelope Clearly Marked, "Proposal for Ifb #64-24 Lincoln Ave Sidewalk Project". The Deposit Shall Be in the Form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's or Treasurer's Check, Made Payable to the Town of Saugus, or Cash. The Successful Bidder Must Furnish a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond of an Amount Equal to One Hundred (100%) Percent of the Total Contract Price, Issued by a Surety Company, Satisfactory to the Public Works Director. All Bidders Must Be Prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation-highway Division (Online) in the Category of "Highway-sidewalk & Curbing" in the Amount of $257,705.00 in Order to Submit Bids for the Work. Prospective bidders are required to submit all questions in writing to Michele Wendell, Procurement Director, at mwendell@saugus-ma.gov by 10:00 AM on Friday August 23,
