Update:The Harford County Detention Center is a fully operational facility which houses inmates awaiting their criminal trials or after being convicted and serving their sentence. The Detention Center is governed by the Maryland Commission on Correctional Standards and as such is mandated to provide adequate space and equipment for the inmate population to receive routine exercise, including outdoor facilities. This project provides funding for various repairs, upgrades and renovations needed to maintain the safety and efficiency of the facility.
