SET ASIDE:100 % FOR: SMALL BUSINESS Scope: Provide all materials, labor, and equipment for performing all operations necessary to complete the following work: a. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to apply a foliar chemical spray treatment on invasive non-native vegetation in the main entrance/Duck Pond Area along Birch Hill Dam Road (approximately 5.27 acres). b. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to apply a foliar chemical spray treatment on invasive non-native vegetation west of the dam between the Millers River, and southern boundary (approximately 16.83 acres). c. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to cut & treat and/or spot spray chemical treatment to control invasive non-native plants west of the dam and north of the Millers River as mapped in the area around River Road and the upstream canoe launch (approximately 9.77 acres). d. Apply a foliar chemical spray treatment to control invasive species in the following areas of concern: i. River Road and Swamp Road Roadsides (area within 50ft of road shoulder) and the area between Beaver Pond and Swamp Road starting at gate R04 and ending at gates R06 and R08. ii. Birch Hill Dam Road Roadsides (area within 25 ft of the road shoulder) e. All work shall be completed in accordance with the following Performance Work Statement. Location: The Birch Hill Dam Project area is located at 68 Birch Hill Dam Rd, Royalston, Massachusetts 01368. The Technical Point of Contact for this contract will be Park Ranger, Rick Brackett. The PreWork Conference shall be completed within 7 days of Contract Award. The Government shall be given 7 days' notice prior to the start of field work. The project area will be open to the Contractor Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and all work must be done during those hours unless additional hours are approved by the Technical Point of Contact. No work shall be done on weekends or Government holidays. All pre-work submittals shall be submitted within 7 days of contract award. The Government reserves up to 7 days for review and acceptance on each submittal/resubmittal from the date of receipt. If revisions are necessary to the submittals, the Contractor shall make such revisions and shall be resubmitted to the Government in an acceptable form within 3 days of the Government's response, unless additional time is granted by the Government in writing. No field work may proceed prior to the acceptance of pre-work submittals. $9.5 million
