Renovation of an educational facility in Mokena, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

This will be a single prime contract for a turnkey project based on a firm fixed price. No change orders will be allowed unless directed by ESG or the District. The successful bidder will be awarded work for both buildings. Estimate: $300K-$350K per school ball park. 1)Mokena Elementary School located at 19815 Kirkstone Way, Mokena, IL, 60448 2)Mokena Intermediate School, located at 11331 195th St, Mokena, IL 60448 Purpose and Objectives The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain proposals from qualified contractors for construction services in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications contained in the Request for Proposal. The District has identified the following objectives: oImprove the integrity and reliability of the Fire Alarm systems oReduce the risks of having to perform emergency maintenance and/or repairs on failing equipment. Contractor Prequalification All potential bidders will be required to submit prequalification documentation through the ESG PASS system. The prequalification process reviews the contractor's; safety history, insurability, bonding capability, and financial viability. To start this process please email; kmartin@energysystemsgroup.com Master Subcontract Agreement Master Subcontract Agreement (MSA) - It is the intention of ESG to contract for the work included in this RFP as a Work Order to an MSA. The successful Bidder is required to have a fully executed MSA in place prior to issuance of the Work Order. Prior to responding to this RFP, all bidders are urged to review the terms of their enacted MSA agreement, complete execution requirements for the MSA, or review the standard terms of the MSA at online. Responses shall include at a minimum a completed Exhibit B - Proposal Form and any pertinent facts necessary for a proper evaluation of your response. All respondents will be required to successfully complete a contractor pre-qualification process with the construction manager before any subcontracts can be issued. Responding firm will bear all costs associated with preparing their response of this RFP and interviews, if any. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
