Railroad Lake in Rotary Park located in Blue Springs, MO has significant silting effecting the water quality. The Lake is approximately 41,000 square feet of surface water space and it is the intent to remove the silt and haul off-site to re-establish a depth to provide a better eco-aquatic environment. Final Acceptance - It is anticipated that the Contractor will have their work completed on or before April 1, 2025 with a start date of no sooner than January 1, 2025. Additional construction time may be given in consideration for bad weather days. The contractor selection will be based upon a combination of method of silt removal and haul-off and total price for the work outlined. The selection of a contractor is the purpose of this solicitation All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of proposals, shall be directed to the Superintendent of Parks, Derek Mayden. It shall be understood, however, that no specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any "or equal" products be considered for approval prior to award of contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make award in the interest of the Owner.
