Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Burlington, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
General Nature of Public Improvement The work for the Dankwardt Park Playground - Parking Improvements project includes all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for construction. The location of improvements is along Harry Hatt Drive, located just west of the new playground in Dankwardt Park. All removal and demolition work will be completed by Contractor. Removal work includes removal of 282 LF of existing concrete curb; removal of 605 SF of existing concrete walkway. Improvements work includes approximately 4,770 SF of 8" PCC Parking Pavement; 3,570 SF of 5" Sidewalk Pavement; and 393 LF of PCC Curb. Landscaping and pavement striping will be installed by Owner. A pre-bid meeting will not be conducted. Pre-bid questions can be submitted to Eric Tysland, Development & Parks Director via email to tyslande@burlingtoniowa.org. Questions must be submitted before September 3 rd by 2:00 pm The City of Burlington does hereby reserve the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the jurisdiction. The City of Burlington reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of bids and no bid may be withdrawn during this period.
