Remove and replace existing supply pump with new 325GPM, 15 HP, 3 phase, 575V 6" electric motor. Allow for new wiring as required. Replace drop piping with thick mineral building up with new PVC. (est. 40ft) Excavation and all backfilling required to replace the return well pitless unit. New unit to be 10" pitless unit, normal stainless-steel spool with an 8ft bury. Redevelopment of both wells to remove mineral build ups. Include physical and chemical redevelopment methods. Include any permitting requirements. All work to include a minimum of 1 year labour warranty AND the manufacturer's warranty for the equipment supplied. In delivering the Services, the successful Vendor shall: a) conduct all work in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended practices for the corresponding equipment that is being maintained, by qualified persons who have the required training, education, and accreditation as deemed necessary by manufacturers specifications. b) deliver the Services in a manner that does not disrupt business or classroom operations. Service delivery on evenings and weekends may be required. c) provide a single point of contact for daily communication (Site Supervisor). d) provide a single service contact for emergency normal business hours communications. e) provide a single point of contact for emergency communication outside of normal business hours. f) be responsible for reporting any work not included in the items below and provide a price for the required work. For the purposes of this RFQ the items below shall be considered in-scope and discrepancies between the requests and site shall be considered out of scope and will be accounted for post award. g) be required to work with Facilities Management to develop a detailed work plan with intended in-depth schedule for work to be performed. h) vendor Service Lead must complete RRC Polytech contractor safety briefing. i) submission of all shop drawings and approval required prior to ordering of equipment. Sample copies of the schedule are to be provided in Vendor Proposals. Consideration should be given to disposing of materials and agents in a manner that has little or no negative environmental effect and falls in line with the College's sustainability practices.
