Site work for a mixed-use development in Seattle, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Seattle Public Utilities is seeking a Consultant Team to perform structural/seismic assessments, conceptual design, and costing of seismic upgrades and recoating for two steel water storage facilities, Charlestown Standpipe and Volunteer Standpipe. The assessments will further develop previously completed preliminary seismic vulnerability assessments and identify/compare options for rehabilitating and seismically strengthening the facilities. This RFP will select a single consultant team and award one contract. The estimated budget for the assessment/options analysis phase of this contract is $250,000. At the completion of the assessment/options analysis work phase, SPU may elect to amend the contract to include design and construction support services for projects to seismically upgrade and recoat Charlestown Standpipe and Volunteer Standpipe. The estimated cost of these potential future phases is to be determined but will be related to the construction cost and complexity of the project alternative that SPU implements. Total estimated cost for all phases is $1M. The estimated contract duration will be 5 years with an option to extend additional years.
