Site work for a civil project in Delray Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Thomas Street Storm water Pump Replacement. Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty, or other acceptable alternative, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount (Refer to Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Guaranties, and Qualifications of Surety Requirements). To submit an original bid security, in lieu of submitting an electronic bid bond using Surety 2000 through Periscope S2G, Vendor must submit an original bid security in a sealed envelope, with the solicitation number, solicitation title, date and the time of bid opening, and address listed on the envelope. A copy of the bid security should also be uploaded into Periscope S2G. Scope: The Scope of Work requires the furnishing of all services and other deliverables necessary for the successful completion of the proposed project. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials required under this scope. The Scope of Work includes but is not limited to: replacement of an existing storm water pump station with new submersible pumps, back-up emergency generators with fuel storage, drainage structures and piping, by-pass pumping with remote monitoring capability, and relocation of active potable water and sanitary sewer infrastructure. Deadline for "Questions and Answers" is revised from September 6, 2024, to September 13, 2024 at 5:00 PM. The Contractor will be required to maintain storm water pumping operations throughout the duration of the project; per the construction documents. This project includes State funding via two (2) Florida Department of Environmental Protection grants. The selected Contractor will be required to comply with all State requirements noted in the two (2) attached grant agreements. The funding source for 22FRP134 was recently changed from Federal to State (refer Exhibit H-1). Licensing Requirements: The Vendor must possess Florida State General Contractor's license or current certificate of competency issued by Palm Beach County Examining Board having jurisdiction over licensing of Contractors in the type of work involved in this contract. Refer to Qualification of Bidders for additional information. Construction is estimated to cost approximately $11,750,000.00 The City of Delray Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City.
