Reference Number 0000276396 Question Acceptance Deadline Sep 03, 2024 02:00 PM EDT BGIS and the Bidder agree that all questions, Technical Submissions, and other communications sent by e-mail or fax in respect of this RFPQ are hereby requested or otherwise solicited. Background: J.L. Richards was retained by BGIS to investigate the replacement/upgrade of the original 600 Volt distribution splitter panels throughout the building. This investigation took place in December of 2021. During the investigation it was identified that most of the branch circuit panels, 600-Volt splitters and 120/208-volt splitters in the building were installed in the 70s and 80s and are past their life expectancy. This puts the building at risk of extended power outages due to the lack of availability of parts for these outdated panels. Project Scope: As part of this project the outdated branch circuit panels in both towers will be replaced. All the of the splitters in both tower risers will be eliminated. We will implement the use of distribution panels with branch breakers to sub feed subsequent branch circuit panels. Metering will also be added to the main distribution panels and subsequent distribution panels. Project DSR will be included in the ITT package. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.bgis.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
