sealed bids will be received for generator maintenance and other services. This will include furnishing all labor, material and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and contract documents. The LACDA intends to award a one-year contract with the option of four (4), one-year extensions, provided services are satisfactory and funds are available. All bids shall be labeled "Bid for Generator Maintenance and Other Services, IFB No. LACDA24-013, [DUE DATE]." Any Bidder who wishes his/her bid to be considered is responsible for making certain that it is received by the LACDA at the stated location and at the stated date and time. No oral, facsimile, or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered unless specified. Bids received after the scheduled deadline will not be considered. Bidders, who, upon request, receive the Invitation for Bids package and do not wish to submit a bid should reply with a letter of "No Bid" by the submission due date. This is a HUD Section 3 Contract, and all Bidders must commit to achieving established requirements, including benchmarks, for Section 3 workers and Targeted Section 3 workers to be considered a responsive bidder and eligible for a contract award. In submitting a bid, each Bidder thereby agrees that, if awarded a contract, it shall execute a standard LACDA Contract, a sample of which is attached to the IFB package for reference. The LACDA shall not award a contract to, or be obligated to execute a contract with, any Bidder who refuses to execute said standard LACDA Contract. The LACDA reserves the right to reject any and all bids. This IFB is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The LACDA is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondent's bid. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this IFB. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the LACDA reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the Bids.
