Description

Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Powell River, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

BC Wildfire Service currently has facilities in Powell River for the Coastal region and recently acquired a new leased property next to the current zone office building to cater for the expansion of the Fire Zone and its operational needs. The current facilities at the Zone are insufficient, not allowing for the expansion of future staff operational demand and parking areas. BC Wildfire Service is seeking for the site of the new leased property to be prepared and serviced for the future reception of a new three wide modular building (not in scope) and the construction of the parking area with a secured fencing system to protect the new compound. The ministry requires the services of a general contractor to undertake the construction required for the site preparation at the zone as described above. This ITT calls for the preparation of 0.124 ha of property that shall include all earthworks required (stripping, land clearing, excavating, levelling, gravel, compaction), parking area constructions and fencing installation. Also included are the extension/installation of new utility services (sanitary, storm &water) to the future trailer. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca
