Works involve activities on approximately 6,125 lineal metres of Forest Service Road (FSR) near Powell River B.C. located in the Sunshine Coast Natural Resource District, including. Pre-grade of application areas to enhance bonding of new surfacing materials with existing roadway. Supply, load, haul, place, grade and compaction of 7,578 tonnes of 100% crushed rock 25mm Well Graded Base (WGB) aggregate material as specified on 6,125 lineal metres of FSR as per attached schedules, specifications, drawing and attachments. Strict traffic control with the use of accredited traffic control personnel and appropriate Worksafe BC compliant signage. Contractor responsible for ensuring/coordinating any road closure/restrictions with residents/caretakers. Strict environmental protective measures to minimize risk of sedimentation to adjacent streams. Works incorporate warning signage, traffic control personnel (the Contractor will supply traffic control personnel during all operations where traffic will be required to move around working machinery), all required environmental protection measures including sediment and water control measures, and any other applicable schedules, specifications, drawings, and attachments.
