The improvements are located approximately 0.38 miles east of Devon Avenue/IL 21 (Milwaukee Avenue) intersection and 0.67 miles west of Devon Avenue/Caldwell Avenue intersection on the bridge (SN 016-2597) over the North Branch of the Chicago River. The gross and net length of the project improvements are 230.84 feet, 0.043 miles. The corridor is under the jurisdiction of District 1 of the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). The work consists of bridge improvements to bridge structure SN 016-2597. The bridge deck will be scarified and repaired. The floor drains will be cleaned. The approach slabs will be repaired. Polymer concrete nosing will be placed at abutments. The deck will be overlayed with 2.5 in latex overlay. The approach slabs and roadway will have 1.75 in HMA overlay.
