Site work for a water / sewer project in Glen Carbon, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed work consists of construction of approximately 4,000 lineal feet of 12" water main and related appurtenances in Glen Carbon. Bids that are furnished by mail shall be addressed to the Village Clerk, Village of Glen Carbon, Village Hall, 151 North Main Street, Glen Carbon, Illinois 62034. All bids must be made on forms furnished by the Village of Glen Carbon. The successful bidder will be required to execute and present performance and payment bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. Bids must be for the contract as a whole. Illinois law requires that contractors pay the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor. The Village of Glen Carbon reserves the right to waive, or not to waive, any irregularities in the bids and to reject any or all bids and to determine which is the lowest and best bid.
