Site work for a pre-engineered storage facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The project entails the deconstruction and transportation of 39 modular units, totaling approximately 14,837 square feet, currently located at 525 Powell St., Vancouver. These units will be moved to an owner-owned site located on Lougheed Hwy., Coquitlam, BC. Services required include, but are not limited to, leading, creating, coordinating, and managing the building cleaning, deconstruction process, transportation, site remediation, traffic management, and storage site preparation. Key deliverables include but are not limited to: Condition Report Cleaning of the units Traffic Management/ Road Closure Plans Dismantling/ Deconstruction/ Transportation Plans Approval of Demolition Permit Timeline: Submitted by mid Sept 2024 Estimated completion date (mid December 2024/ early January 2025). Deconstruction of the 39 modular units at 525 Powell St., Vancouver Timeline: The units should be vacant by early/mid May 2025 Deconstruction should occur from Mid/late May to late June, 2025 Transportation of the 39 units from 525 Powell St., Vancouver to Lougheed Hwy., Coquitlam. Storage site preparation and storage of the units at Lougheed Hwy., Coquitlam. (Timeline: Ready for late June) Fencing (privacy screen) – two areas Area 1: Fencing should be roughly 220M, 8 ft. tall, with privacy screening and 1 cantilever gate Area 2: Fencing should be roughly 140M 8 ft. tall, with privacy screening, and 1 cantilever gate Removing 20-30 self starting trees Remediation of 525 Powell - Assess the condition of each module and identify any damages. Repair the modules to reusable condition if necessary (Please see the attached images to see the condition of each unit).
