This specification covers the electrical, mechanical, and performance requirements of power-operated, load-interrupting, solid dielectric insulated switches suitable for operation at primary voltage in subsurface vault or manhole facilities on electric distribution systems. The transformers shall comply with the latest applicable standards of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and meet the National Electrical Code (NEC) section 450-23 for outdoor installation of less-flammable liquid-insulated transformers. All Transformers shall be Factory Mutual Approved. Submit Written Questions Vendor 08/24/2024 by 1:00PM Written questions shall be e-mailed to mmrowlan@unc.edu by the date and time specified above.
