Question Deadline 08/28/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Questions through Online Portal East Whiteland Township will accept sealed proposals for removal of the adaptive signal system for six signalized intersections within East Whiteland Township along Conestoga Road (S.R. 0401). Bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. The Township reserves the right to waive any informality or to refuse any or all of the bids. All bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457, Regulations Governing Pre-qualification of Prospective Bidders, and PennDOT Form 408/2016, latest revision, Section 102. Subcontractors must pre-qualify in the same manner, if listed in the proposal or if they subsequently undertake the partial or total construction of one or more items of work. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified prime contractors and include personnel who are IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level II certified to perform construction of traffic signals. This project is subject to Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wages Rates and is funded by a PennDOT Traffic Signal Technologies Grant.
