The City of Wentzville (the "City") is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the purchase and installation of a LED Sign at E Pearce Blvd and Luetkenhaus Blvd, which consists of two new LED sign panels back-to-back. The bid will include the removal of the existing two panel LED sign panels with proper disposal. Question Deadline 09/04/2024 at 10:00 AM CT Substantial Completion Date: December 06, 2024. 1. The two new sign displays should closely match the existing sign size of 65-1/4"W x 40-1/8"H x 7"D. For signs with smaller dimensions, a description of how the gap would be filled must be included. 2. Sign shall be fit for outdoor use with a rating of IP65 or higher, be full color, programmable, and have a 6mm pixel pitch graphic resolution. 3. The contractor shall warrant the signs are in compliance with FCC regulations for emissions interference and the warranty offered shall be for a period of 5 years from installation date covering parts and labor and shall address a minimum of .5% pixel failure within the overall sign, all panels collectively. 4. Contractor must be able to service the sign by providing parts and labor as needed. Service response times are requested at 48 hours of initial contact. 5. Sign to use existing electrical and fiber already at the job site. 6. Each of the two LED sign case units shall have the ability to be sealed from inclement weather and have the capability to be latched and locked at the bottom. 7. The sign display backings should be easily accessible for general maintenance. 8. New signs should be compatible with the City's existing Reach Digital Signage software and BrightSign player #XT1144 systems.
