New construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Danielsville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 38,918-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility.
This project includes the construction of a new agricultural building to include a ring area, livestock area, and accessory spaces. The building will be a one story pre-engineered metal building. Sealed bids will be received by the Construction Manager until 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the Office of the Construction Manager, Charles Black Construction Company, Inc., 1955 Highway 129 South, Cleveland, Georgia 30528. Bids must be submitted in Duplicate on the Construction Managers Proposal Form along with a 5% Bid Bond if required by the Bid Package. No Faxed or E-Mailed Bids Accepted. Bid Packages 1 through 24. The scope of work for this project consisted of: Drilling and sampling a total of six (6) soil test borings distributed within the proposed development to explore the subsurface conditions and provide geotechnical recommendations for the proposed development. The planned depth of the borings was 20 feet below the existing ground surface (BGS). Field and laboratory testing to determine the characteristics of the soils encountered in the soil borings. Preparation of this geotechnical report based on the data gathered during the exploration.
