Site work and paving for a road / highway in Moss Point, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Work upon which bids are to be received, consists of the Saracennia Road and Avtech Parkway Turn Lane Improvements. The attention of bidders is directed to the State and Federal Requirements within this Contract. Contract time shall be 40 working days. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty consisting of a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid. When submitting an electronic bid, the bid must be submitted in "pdf" format and shall contain the same information and forms as required for the paper bids. Electronic bids must be secured with a bid bond. When submitting a bid electronically, the authorized signature may be a hand-written blue ink signature or be an electronic signature. When bids are submitted electronically, the requirement for including a certificate of responsibility, or a statement that the bid enclosed does not exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), on the exterior of the bid envelope shall be deemed in compliance by including the same information as an attachment with the electronic bid submittal. The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that minority business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The County reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any informalities and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which, however, shall not extend beyond 60 days from the bid opening date. **Bid Notes: If a sealed envelope bid is submitted by mail, the post office address of the Purchasing Department is P.O.
