Site work for a mixed-use development in Byram Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
A general overview of the project includes the renovation and reconstruction of an existing natural grass athletic field. The reconstruction includes added stormwater drainage, field underdrains, topsoil rehabilitation, sod, irrigation, wet well, pumps, and electrical work. Bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten per centum (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand ($20,000) dollars and made payable to Byram Township. The bid bond may also be provided in certified check and cashier's check in accord with provisions within general requirements of this bid. The Township of Byram will award this bid to the lowest responsible bidder in accordance with New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law. This procurement has been advertised in accordance with the "Fair and Open Basis" under the Pay-to-Play Legislation (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5).
