Fire Station 12 Restroom Improvements (Shower Stall/Restroom) Location- 9402 Bollock Loop Laredo, Texas 78041 SUMMARY: Install a new Shower stall. Make a new 36" opening inside the restroom. Install new flooring in the restroom area. Include all necessary labor, materials, building permits, and equipment to complete this project. REMOVE EXISTING ITEMS: All items shall be removed and disposed of, removed from site, and hauled to the City of Laredo landfill on a weekly basis. PLUMBING DRAINAGE/WATER LINES: Break concrete and relocate shower drain to adjacent room where future shower will be located. Run new Hot & Cold-water lines to connect new shower stall faucet. Install new 36"x36" wide shower stall with Center Drain. Includes labor, demolition, concrete, plumbing materials, tools, supervision, and all necessary items to complete this project. Install two grab bars in the bathroom. In accordance with ADA compliance FLOOR COVERING: Provide and install new 2"x 2" ceramic tile (non- slippery at the restroom and shower. Includes labor, demolition, tile grout, tile adhesive, tools, supervision, and all necessary items to complete this project. NEW OPENING FOR SHOWER PRIVACY DOOR: Make a 36" opening on the inside of the restroom and install a new metal door with frame included if existing door and frame isn't able to be used. Install a new water-resistant ceiling tiles for both rooms. Remove existing door and frame and enclose wall with new matching CMU block. Includes block, mortar, paint, and base molding, and all necessary equipment to seal as wall. ELECTRICAL/ EXHAUST FANS: Furnish all labor, material & equipment to install a new (150 cfm / .05 or better sones) exhaust fan and water-resistant light fixtures. FINISHES: Prime and paint new interior materials. For interior use acrylic latex finishes. Paint restroom and shower walls (water resistant paint) WEATHERIZATION: Provide rubber base caulking around new construction subject to weather filtration. Trim and finish all caulking and sealants that are applied around pipes, gaps, holes, and other exposed surfaces. *Vendors shall comply with all rules and regulations set by City of Laredo Fire and Building Codes and Comply with ADA Standards.
