Renovation of a municipal facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

ESTIMATED COST: $411,090.96 LICENSE REQUIREMENT: General Building Contractor, Building Contractor The project consists of, and is not limited to, furnishing all materials, labor, services, supervision, tools, equipment, including all associated permits, and all other items necessary for the successful completion of the project, which shall include structural and minor general repairs at the Cultural Center - Project 1, to comply with the 40-50 Years Recertification as described below and identified in the construction documents. The project description is as follows: 1. Post shoring 2. Repair of spalling concrete 3. Repair of cracks 4. Expansion Joints Repairs Asbestos survey found no asbestos in the 72 material samples obtained. The Asbestos report is included in the Bid Documents. The project dry-run submittal has been approved by the Miami Dade County Building Department. The permit number with Miami Dade County is C2024105381. At the close of the project, the contractor shall submit all close-out documentation and warranty, etc. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: The lowest, responsive bidder is required, after Bid Opening and within three (3) business days of County's written request, to provide the Bidder's references for projects that are representative of the general scope of work which is currently being advertised, of equal or greater value, and that demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience and/or completed a minimum of three (3) similar projects. In accordance with Resolution R-1122-21, the experience of the Bidder's key personnel or Bidder's proposed subcontractor will be considered in assessing whether the Bidder complies with this solicitation's minimum experience or completed project requirement. References must include the following information: 1) a description of scope of work performed; 2) project address; 3) name and title of Bidder's key personnel assigned to that project; and, 4) client contact information: name, address, phone number, email address, project cost, and project start and completion dates. All requests for information (RFIs) shall comply with the Cone of Silence, Administrative Order 3-27 and shall be emailed to kristina.hagberg@miamidade.gov with a copy to hilario.hernandez@miamidade.gov and clerkbcc@miamidade.gov. The deadline to receive RFIs from bidders is no later than 2 PM on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Responses cannot be guaranteed for RFIs submitted past the established deadline. Procedural questions may be entertained by phone or during the Pre-Bid Meeting.
