Demolition and site work for a civil project in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
SBE-S: 4% - Service Goal in the following recommended commodities: (NIGP 98852) Landscaping, ESTIMATED COST: $1,508,619.03 SCOPE OF WORK: The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to upgrade Sewage Pump Station No. 077, including, but not limited to, providing uninterrupted by-pass pumping capabilities for the existing pump station flow during all construction times and until the new pump station is completely operational and accepted by the Owner; demolishing and removal of the existing dry well / wet well top slab, frame & cover and removal of all existing equipment inside the structures including, but not limited to the following: the existing dry/wet well, pumping equipment and appurtenances, piping and fittings, conduits, and all other items deemed necessary to be removed; filling the dry well portion of existing structure with flowable fill and abandon in place; Convert wet well portion of structure to receiving manhole by creating new floor slab with flow channel and install gravity sewer piping; removal of existing controls slabs, equipment, vents, piping and appurtenances; site preparation, clearing and grubbing as necessary; furnishing and installing a new WASD standard 8' (inside) Dia. concrete wet well with flood resistant aluminum access hatch and 10-inch internal discharge piping, valves, fittings, and appurtenances; furnish and install two new submersible pumps; furnish and install new WASD standard concrete valve vault, with flood resistant aluminum access hatch and 10-inch internal discharge piping, valves, fittings, and appurtenances. The Pump Station is located within the NW North River Drive Right of Way; directly adjacent to Gerry Curtis Park, which is owned by the City of Miami. The RFI cut-off date is five (5) business days prior to the bid due date.
