Mt Pleasant is receiving bids for two projects at the same time: this Lower Adams Creek Gravity Sewer Outfall project and the 2022 Water Distribution Improvements project. The water project bids will be opened first. After all bids for the water project have been read and the apparent low bidder announced, contractors that submitted a bid for the sewer project will be given the opportunity to withdraw their bid prior to opening the sewer project bids. The Lower Adams Creek Sewer Project includes the following: Approximately 4,900 feet of 8-inch gravity sewer 310 feet of 12-inch gravity sewer 8,000 feet of 15-inch gravity sewer 580 feet of 16-inch gravity sewer Decommissioning of the existing Pasture Lift Station and the Summer Street Pump Station. EPA MBE/WBE participation goals: MBE 10.9% WBE 10.4% State of NC MBE/WBE participation goal: 10% (combined)
