Note: Mt Pleasant is receiving bids for two projects at the same time: this 2022 Water Distribution Improvements project and the Lower Adams Creek Gravity Sewer Outfall project. The water project bids will be opened first. After all bids for the water project have been read and the apparent low bidder announced, contractors that submitted a bid for the sewer project will be given the opportunity to withdraw their bid prior to opening the sewer project bids. This project consists of the following: 1. Approximately 7,340 feet of 12-inch waterline along Main Street and North Drive. 2. Approximately 3,630 feet of 12-inch waterline along East Franklin Street. 3. Approximately 6,000 feet of 12-inch waterline along NC-49. 4. Approximately 4,810 feet of 12-inch waterline along Skyland Drive and West Franklin Street. 5. Approximately 610 feet of 2-inch waterline along Empire Drive. 6. Approximately 1,100 of 12-inch waterline along Cook Street. 7. Approximately 200 feet of 6-inch waterline along Crestwood Drive. Bidding Documents are available on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non refundable charge of $150.00, including shipping. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $150.00 per set, which includes shipping, payable to LKC Engineering. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent to the Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
