Renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility in Lamar, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
The City of Lamar is accepting bids for repairs and improvements to a large metal framed building located on the northeast corner of 12th Street (US 160) and Broadway Streets. The project will consist of replacing approximately 3,000 square feet of metal roof and applying approximately 7,600 square feet of spray foam insulation. Work should be outlined as followed: ROOF: Remove existing metal panels and insulation on the roof. Install new 26-gauge panels with 1 rib to purlins (color to be specified at a later date) All Trims, flashing, etc. according to standard practice. Application of 2 nominal closed cell spray foam to underside of metal roof panels R10 or better. WALLS: Walls are approximately 4,600 square feet Remove metal wall panels on the inside of purlin Cut out existing insulation Protect floors from overspray Application of 2 nominal closed cell foam to walls Application of paint to SPF Application of white paint to spray foam Application of paint to immediately follow foam, masking from foam to stay in place till after paint is applied.
