Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Horn Lake, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The work shall consist essentially of the following type items for 2024 street management program - year 2 phase 1: 1. Milling and overlay The Engineer is Neel-Schaffer, Inc., 5740 Getwell Road, Building 2, Southaven, Mississippi 38672, Phone No. (662) 890-6404. Contract time shall be 240 consecutive calendar days from the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed for each consecutive calendar day thereafter in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate, sealed and deposited with the Horn Lake City Clerk prior to the hour and date hereinbefore designated. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each Bidder must deposit with his proposal, a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of his bid, payable to the City of Horn Lake, as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement, if requested by the City. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The City of Horn Lake reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
