A. Work of the Project involves building improvements including, but not limited to, windows and glazing, exterior door replacements, bumping out exterior walls and any related interior finishes, exterior restoration and painting, concrete work, asphalt paving work, landscaping, and metal panel façade installation. B. Milwaukee County will furnish the Agreement form for signatures and bonding. Sample agreement forms are included in this Project Manual. C. Owner will award single Prime Contract King Community Center Building Exterior Improvements Phase II Project Location: 1531 W. Vliet St, Milwaukee, WI 53205 Contract Description: Miscellaneous Building Improvements Including, but Not Limited to Windows and Glazing, Exterior Door Replacements, Bumping Out Exterior Walls and Any Related Interior Finishes, Exterior Restoration and Painting, Concrete Work, Asphalt Paving Work, Landscaping, and Metal Panel Facade Installation. Substantial Completion Date: May 31st, 2025 Project funded by State ARPA, State NIF For Further Information Contact 414-278-4861. Targeted Business Enterprise (TBE ) Participation Goal for This Project is 25 Percent. To Be Considered for This Project All Required Tbe-14 / Dbe-14 Forms Shall Be Completed and Signed by Prime and Submitted as Indicated in Invitation to Bid. If Goal Cannot Be Met, Contractor Must Fill Out Tbe-01 Good Faith Efforts Form. Bidder's Attention is Called to the "notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity" (Executive Order 11246), Contained in the Bid Documents, Which Set Forth, in Part, Goals and Timetables for the Employment of Women and Minorities in the Project Area. Prime Contractors Shall Be Qualified Prior to Submitting a Bid in Accordance With Chapter 43 of Milwaukee County Ordinance. Bidders Shall Submit the Completed Subcontractor-supplier Information Entry With the Bid. Failure to Submit This Information With Bid May Result in Rejection of the Bid as Non-responsive. A 10 Percent Bid Bond or Certified Check is Required With Bid. The Low Responsive, Responsible Bidder Will Be Recommended for Contract Award. Owner Reserves Right to Reject Bid, to Waive Informalities in Bid or to Accept Bid Which Will Be in Best Interest of Owner. Base Bid Shall Remain Open to Acceptance for a Period of 60 Days After Bid Due Date.
