Tree Services for Privately Owned Property Total figures quoted must reflect the total cost to the City of Brandon including all items F.O.B. Various Locations, Brandon, Manitoba. (5%) G.S.T. must be listed separately but must be included in the "Total Bid Price" Total figures quoted must reflect the total cost to the City of Brandon including all items F.O.B. Various Locations, Brandon, Manitoba. (5%) G.S.T. must be listed separately but must be included in the "Total Bid Price" The City of Brandon will normally award contracts to the lowest competent Bidder meeting the required specifications. However, the City retains the right to reject any or all Firm Price List and to take into consideration past performance of Bidders on similar contracts, both in and out of the City of Brandon and any other factors the City considers relevant including timing of services to be provided. Bid Submissions must be received by the City before the stipulated closing time. Late Bid Submissions will not be accepted. The term for this Firm Price List is September 03, 2024 to October 31, 2026. Provide rates on the Bid Form. Prices will be firm for Year 1 of the term (September 03, 2024 to October 31, 2025). Indicate percentage price increase for Year 2 (November 01, 2025 - October 31, 2026) on Bid Form. Jobs will be requested on an as required basis. Services will be required when Brandon Police Service By-Law Enforcement issues a By-Law violation notice (BVN) to a property owner regarding yard maintenance and the properly owner fails to comply with the BVN. Woodchips can be taken to the Parks Complex (2020 McGregor Avenue) The Contractor shall: a. Perform tree trimming in accordance with BVN. b. Trim trees and shrubs to 14 feet above laneway, sidewalk, street and greenspace or back to property line. c. Remove/dispose any and all tree trimmings, cuttings or entire trees from the property. d. Stump removal is not part of this agreement e. Any damage caused by the Contractor to private property will be the sole responsibility of the Contractor to repair. The City reserves the right to approach any of the Contractors that submitted pricing for the term. Contractor must hold a valid City of Brandon Business License.
