The project scope is to furnish supervision, labor, transportation, equipment, insurance and materials to install a new vehicular waterproofing and traffic coating on Level B of the underground parking garage at the MLGW Administration building located at 220 South Main Street, Memphis, Tennessee 38103 as outlined in the Contract Documents and Specifications. This bond must be signed by the Principal and the Surety before the bid is offered. All bids not in conformity with this provision shall be rejected; except that a certified check, satisfactory to and made payable to the Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division of the City of Memphis, Tennessee for the 5% of the bid price will be sufficient security in lieu of the bond. Before the execution of the contract, the Successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid price or such lesser amount as determined at the sole discretion of MLGW. The bond shall be made upon the form in this packet and shall be made a part of the Contract. The surety company shall be acceptable to MLGW.
