Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dayton, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This work shall consist of removing and disposing all items that interfere with construction. This includes, but is not limited to, all cement concrete pavement, asphalt pavement, sidewalks, curb, gutter, saw cutting, drainage facilities, abandoned pipes, vegetation, and other items designated on the Plans for removal. Also included shall be plugging abandoned pipes. The Work Includes Installation of Approximately 38 Ada Accessible Curb Ramps, Sidewalk Improvements, Storm Drain Improvements, Asphalt Patching, and Other Items, All in Accordance With the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All Work Performed on This Project Will Be Subject to State Prevailing Wage Rates, Eeo, and Washington State Contracting Laws, Etc. All Contractors Performing Work on This Project Must Be Licensed in the State of Washington to Conduct Business. The Contract Time for All Work Shall Be 40 Working Days. All Work Must Be Physically Completed by December 15, 2024. Each Bid on the Project Must Be Submitted on the Prescribed Form and Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond Payable to the Owner in an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent of the Amount Bid. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish the Necessary Additional Bonds for the Faithful Performance of the Contract as Prescribed in the Contract Documents. The Owner May Reject Any Bid Not in Compliance With All Prescribed Requirements and May Reject for Good Cause Any and All Bids Upon Finding That It is in the Public Interest to Do So. The Owner is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. Minority and Women-owned Businesses Are Encouraged to Bid. Each Minority and Women Owned Business Requesting Plans Should Indicate That They Are a Minority Firm at the Time They Request Plans So They May Be Listed on the Planholders List as a Minority. This Project is Partially Funded Through the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board With State Funds.
