Description

Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Kitimat, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.

The works to be constructed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: Hazardous materials abatement and demolition of the superstructure of two buildings located at 110-139 and 143 Nechako Centre, Kitimat, BC, V8C 1M8. Arrange for and coordinate utility disconnections for both buildings. Demolish, remove and dispose of building superstructures and materials contained therein; materials contained in the basement levels; and disconnected and abandoned underground utilities. Leave site in a safe and secure condition with excavations backfilled, the foundations and basement levels secured, fencing in place and site drainage complete with erosion and sediment control in place such that there will be minimal ponding and no overflow into the streets or environmentally sensitive areas.
