Renovation of a water / sewer project in Kitimat, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The District of Kitimat has issued this RFQ to invite interested contractors to indicate their interest in, and present their qualifications for, acting as General Contractor for the Water Treatment Upgrade Project. The General Contractor shall be required to assume the existing contracts held by the District for advance work performed by the Process Equipment Supplier and Building Supplier. The purpose of this RFQ is to shortlist Respondents who will then participate in a secondary bidding process. The secondary bidding process will be used to select the GC with whom the District may enter into an agreement for GC services.
