Renovation of a transportation facility in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,300-square-foot transportation facility.

This project provides for: An existing shell space, of approximately 4300SF, located on the east side of Concourse G will be finished and used as a rentable conference center as well as a sponsorship space or open space for the traveling public when it is not in use by rental agreements. The space will be finished out with storage closets for holding furniture, a catering space, carpeting, exposed ceilings with architectural clouds, audio/visual equipment, and a storefront with a glass folding wall system. Goals for Minority participation in each trade: 32% Goals for Female participation in each trade: 20% The goal of the MAC for the utilization of Targeted Group Businesses on this project is 9%. Each bid shall be accompanied by a "Bid Security" in the form of a certified check made payable to the MAC in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, or a surety bond in the same amount, running to the MAC, with the surety company thereon duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota. Such Bid Security to be a guarantee that the bidder will not, without the consent of the MAC, withdraw its bid for a period of (70) days after the opening of bids, and, if awarded the Contract, will enter into a contract with the MAC, and in connection therewith, give Performance and Payment Bonds as required by law and on forms furnished to the Contractor by the MAC. In the event the Bidder fails to enter into a Contract, the amount of the certified check will be retained or the bond enforced by the MAC. The bid of the lowest responsible bidder, provided said low bidder has made a good faith effort to meet the TGB contract goal, will be accepted on or before the expiration of (70) days after the date of the opening of bids. The MAC, however, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any minor irregularities, informalities or discrepancies.
