Site work and paving for a road / highway in Christiansted, Virgin Islands. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA or the Authority) is seeking proposals from aqualified licensed contractor to perform road repairs at the Wilfred Bomba Allick Container Port Transshipment Center property on St. Croix, USVI. Large cavities have formed throughout the existing roadway due to the heavy traffic of larger commercial vehicles in this area. The current condition of this road is negatively impacting operations at the facility to include unnecessary damage to equipment. Prices and payment of the scope items shall be on a lump sum basis and include full compensation for furnishing materials, labor, and equipment for the following. The Contractor will be responsible for the following Acquisition and delivery of 100 tons of milling material to the project site. Placement of milled asphalt material - Fill and compaction of all affected spaces within the specified area of concern (see attached images) All work shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and United States Virgin Islands, rules, codes, ordinances, and regulations.
