Carbon County Fire Protection District (District) is seekingRequests for Proposals / Statements of Interest for Snow RemovalServices (Services) at the Ryan Park Volunteer Fire Department,located at 15 Fire Fox Drive, Ryan Park, Carbon County, Wyoming(Site). The District is seeking proposals from qualified companies,persons, entities, firms, or individuals (Contractor) with therequisite experience, equipment and availability for the Site. Minimum requirements from Contractor are as follows: o Services to include plowing to occur on all occasions when thesnow accumulation is 2" or more at Site by Contractor. o Services to include plowing to occur at least daily at Site duringprolonged, continuous or consecutive weather/snow storms byContractor. o Services to include a rotary snow plow to be used by Contractorto remove accumulated snow so to maintain enough snow storagewithin the designated area for the annual winter months at Site.o Services to minimally include plowing and clearing (maintained)of the front and rear areas of the Ryan Park Volunteer FireDepartment building/station ingress and egress areas for persons,buildings and equipment/vehicles by Contractor at the Site. The relationship between Contractor and District shall at alltimes be that of an independent contractor. Contractor shall berequired to enter into an Independent Contractor Agreementwhich shall minimally contain the terms that Contractor shall beresponsible for supplying all equipment, tools, fuel and any othernecessary items to perform the snow removal services at the Site.Additionally any damage caused by the services provided, whetherto the equipment, the Ryan Park Volunteer Fire Departmentbuilding/station, District or Ryan Park equipment or vehiclesat the Site shall be at the sole responsibility and expense of theContractor, to which the Contractor shall indemnify and hold theDistrict harmless. Responses and/or statements of interest should include andprovide minimally how Contractor can provide and accommodatethe minimum requirements stated above. Additionally, responsesand/or statements of interest shall address: o Identification of dates for weather/snow season for whichServices will be provided at the Site. o Identification of proposed fees, whether flat monthly fee, hourlyfee or other for Services at the Site. o Itemization of tools and equipment available by Contractor forproviding Services at the Site. o Location and duration for Contractor to physically travel to Site. All proposals received will be considered public information bythe District. The District assumes no liability to any respondingperson or entity or potential Contractor. The District retainsand reserves the right and sole discretion to reject any responseor proposal at any time on any basis.
