The General Work Requested is: Crackfill Asphalt and Concrete Street Pavements With a Hot-applied Asphalt Based Product Used to Seal and Fill Cracks and Joints. Additional Work Involving the Filling of Small Holes, Joint Failures, Exposure of Wire Mesh and Other Minor Surface Defects Using Hot-applied Asphalt Based Product and Pea Gravel Will Be Required on All Pavements. Etc.; Located at: St211220102/st211230102 - Crackfilling on Various Streets Locations City Wide Time for Completion: All work on this contract shall be completed by June 30, 2025. The Contractor may employ a maximum of four (4) crews daily. The Contractor shall notify the Commissioner or the City Supervisor, overseeing the project, of Public Works 72 hours in advance of starting work on this contract Liquidated Damages, per diem: $500.00/Day The residency requirement for this project is 40% of all hours worked on the project. Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor's Base Bid. For those bids being submitted through online and using a manual Bond, the contractor may send a signed/executed copy of the bid bond to the Department of Public Works Contract Office by emailing DPWbids@milwaukee.gov.
