Demolition and site work for a bridge / tunnel in Mankato, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The major items of work are approximately: QTY UNIT. Description 1 LS Remove Existing Bridge 300 TON Random Riprap Class III 100 LF Portable Precast Concrete Barrier Design 8337 300 LF Relocate Temporary Fence 8 EA Type III Barricades 200 LF Flotation Silt Curtain Type Moving Water 500 LF Sediment Control Log, Type Wood Fiber 1 LS Turf Establishment Bids must be accompanied by a corporate surety bond made in favor of Blue Earth County or a certified check made payable to the Blue Earth County Treasurer for 5% of the amount of the bid. Upon execution of the Contract, certified checks or bid bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders within 30 days of the opening of the bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Surety Bond. The Blue Earth County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive defects. This Project has a Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) goal. See the DBE Special Provisions for requirements.
