Supply and install a security upgrade to include but not limited to Pals, Harding intercom system, Paging Replacement, SMACS, Active Duress, integrations of passive duress, CCTV integration, Watch tour, Credential Data base, IN-OUT readers, integration into Synergy, inmate phones, power + water + Lighting in inmate living units and cells integration, Perimeter detection, door control, PLC control, UPS + Generator (load tests to ensure sufficient), Connections to Generator AS REQUIRED, Secure Remote Connection to allow Remote Access for Service and Maintenance.
New system is to be installed in parallel with the old system. New system must be tested to meet SOLGEN expectation prior to switching over from current system. System must work without fail, no deficiencies can be outstanding. Security systems must be fully operational to be considered complete.
SOLGEN confirmed that there is no readily available equipment list to share at this time. Consultant will need to complete a thorough review during the pre-design phase and cross reference with any existing drawings. General Project Requirements
1 MGS and CRJMC clearances required
2 Project specific DSS to be procured by Prime Consultant (Cash allowance)
3 All work should meet appropriate codes, standards, and IO guidelines
4 Security escort required for interior work
TIMELINE:
An RFP for pre-design schematic design, design development/construction documents, construction procurement, contract admin services & project close out has been issued by the owner's agent.
Question Acceptance Deadline: 2024/09/13 02:00:00 PM EDT (extended). *The construction budget allocated at the project initiation phase is in the range of $5,470,000 to $6,690,000.
